If you are looking for a great place to stay in Phuket you could do a lot worse than stay here. We usually stay in a busy resort in a different part of the island so were a little apprehensive about renting a private house but from the moment we were met at the airport by a minibus things could not have been nicer and things got better when we were met by the property manager with a hire car at the house which was a very nice touch. The house was very clean. It is more than big enough for a family of 5-6 and could squeeze guests in as well. The TV and the wi-fi were great for when it rained. The pool is literally 5 steps from the front door and the pool hardly ever had people in it. The pictures show exactly what you see when you're swimming. The house is only a short walk in both directions from fantastic beach restaurants and massages. We tried several and went back many times but can't remember the names. We had mountain bikes delivered and toured the vicinity but beware the hills!! Take a trip up the view point for views of the bay which are incredible. There are 7-11s everywhere and it's not that far to the big Tesco if you want a big supermarket. People go to Phuket for different reasons but if you are looking for peace and quiet but with easy access to the island's tourist attractions and nightlife then we cannot recommend this house enough and will definitely be staying again.
