The Northern Lake District is known for its magnificent peaks, such as Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn, as well as the beauty of Ullswater. There are many trails to walk, villages and market towns to explore and superb views to gaze upon. Mell Fell Cottage is located in the heart of the Northern Lakes, in the village of Penruddock. This 300 year old traditional one bedroom cottage is situated in a picturesque, private gravelled terrace, within the Lake District National Park, just a few miles from Ullswater. Within just a few minutes walk is the village pub, The Herdwick, which has been highly rated for its food, both by the travel press and by many locals too! This area has a great deal to offer, and staying in Mell Fell Cottage you'll have all the comforts you need to be able to enjoy it. |
Remember short breaks start at the beginning of November and continue up to the end of April (excl. easter weeks) and are still priced at £150 for 3 nights (minimum) plus £25 per extra night. |
