Welcome to Edgetts Lodge! We are located at the former site of historic Edgetts Michigan, which was a 19th century logging town that burned down over 90 years ago. Even though Edgetts was never rebuilt, the remains of the foundations can still be seen on our land. The Lodge is a magnificent 5100 sq. ft. hand hewn rustic log home, built from huge red pines taken right from the property. The Lodge sits high on a riverbank with a fantastic view overlooking the Pine River, which is one of Michigan's premier, blue-ribbon trout streams. The Pine River is both a designated "Michigan Natural River" and a "Federal Wild and Scenic River". It is also rated as one of the Mid-West's best for kayaking and canoeing. We provide 6 kayaks for your use, with additional kayaks and canoes available for local rental. Please click on the Pine River Map for take out points and travel times on the river. |
