My boyfriend and I went up for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! The yurt is a fun change from a usual cabin. We had a great time making a fire in the fire pit. The location is good (short drive from NYC and close to both Oneonta and Cooperstown) and very beautiful in the month of October. Would definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful place to stay for a long weekend! The woods surrounding the yurts are incredibly peaceful, and we enjoyed having a small fire at night. Chris was a very considerate host, making sure that we had everything we needed. During our stay, we walked the trails on the property, and also took a number of driving excursions through the surrounding hills to experience Howe Caverns, the "Book Village" in Hobart, and the "Blues Train" near Cooperstown. It was nice to come back to the coziness of the yurt each night to make some tea, have a hot shower, and relax.

Awesome experience in a glamorous yurt surrounded by the mystic beauty of the wood. We will be back!

staying in the yurt was everything we wanted and expected. the best of the outdoors without all the trouble that can come along with regular camping. the grounds are quiet and well maintained. we are planning a return trip for sure!
