Our condo sleeps five, and is primarily set up for 2 adults and up to 3 children. It is beautifully furnished with the family in-mind and comes with a 42' flat panel TV in the living room and a 19' flat panel TV in the master bedroom. Enjoy free high-speed wi-fi internet and cable TV. We also have a stroller, booster chair, high-chair, porta-crib, kiddie plates and accessories. So there is no need to pack all that extra stuff that you usually have to drag through the airport or pack into your trunk. Amelia Landings Beach and Raquet Resort is surrounded by tall shade trees and offers peace and quiet close to all the amenities you and your family might want. Amelia Island offers the climate and friendliness that you would expect from North Florida without any of the crowded hustle and bustle associated with your typical beach towns. The island is a well-kept secret among those who have discovered it for themselves, from the wonderful Fort Clinch only a three minute drive away to the spell-binding boating and eco-tours that leave regularly from the town's marina, a 5 minute drive away. After you enjoy your morning coffee and juice you can take a leisurely 3-4 minute stroll to one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Boasting over 13 miles of golden sand dunes, you will never grow bored with your walks or collecting the most amazing shells, or occasional sharks' teeth. Amelia Island was made for relaxing, and is especially suited to the family vacation. Although the drive from Jacksonville Airport to your front door typically takes less than 30 minutes...you might as well be in a different world. It is hard to believe that you can be driving down the island's winding lanes with Spanish moss hanging from the oak trees that cover the road, in such a short distance from a major airport. Of course this also means that if you feel like a day at the AMAZING Jacksonville Zoo...you can be there with the kids in about 25 minutes...not bad considering it feels more like you have changed planets. Of course, the antiquing on Amelia Island is second to none and the quaint stores that give 'Oldtown' such a wonderful ambiance will tempt you to while away hours at a time browsing at their treasures. But, if you feel the need, there are several outlet malls in Jacksonville that are well worth a visit on those rare occasions when the rain falls.

This property is spacious, comfortable, very clean and welcoming. The surrounding landscape creates a quiet, calming atmosphere. The location provides close access to the beach and shopping. Definitely would stay again.

Condo was very clean and bug free - big plus in Florida! 4 of us had ample room , with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Well supplied so no need to buy dishwasher, washer supplies, etc.

This condo is perfect for a pair of retirees like us; that is why we have stayed here more than once. Folks with kids would love it too because there are bunk beds, games, books, beach paraphernalia, and kitchen items geared toward youngsters. Amelia Landings is so quiet and beautifully landscaped. The long screened in porch off the living room and master bedroom is relaxing as you look out into lush greenery. I even enjoy sitting out there during a rain shower. The raindrops hitting the fallen magnolia leaves are like sound therapy to my ears. We were lucky when we discovered this condo. Audrey and Colin are delightful to deal with and bend over backwards helpful.

We had a wonderful time at the McCarthy's condo. The pool was great and it was not too far to walk to the beach. Also the condo was very centrally located to many things to do on Amelia Island. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. I especially enjoyed having my coffee on the porch each morning.
