LOCATION:
The charming Rose Cottage is among the more secluded Asheville vacation rentals. Located at the end of a small country road on little less than an acre yet it is surrounded by 40 acres of lush forest land and horse grazing meadows. Surprisingly just two miles from Interstate 26 with only 15 minutes north to Asheville and 10 minutes south to downtown historic Hendersonville Main Street, this picturesque cottage is quiet, private and in an enchanted world of its own.
You will be captivated with all the private outdoor space! There are decks with plenty of tables and chairs, a luxury 6 person hot tub featuring 54 jets with 3 powerful motors, a 24 foot above ground swimming pool that is 4 feet deep & easy access stairs (with child safety gates), large gas grill, an extensive children�s playground with swings, slide, fort, climbing wall, kids� picnic table, and a large level lawn area for running and playing and there's even a fenced dog pen with shelter. The back of our cottage borders a 22 acre forest and the side yard borders a 14 acre meadow where you might meet our neighbor�s horses as they graze across the fence. It�s hard to believe you are only 2 miles from the Interstate in this secluded enchanted oasis!

There are decks with plenty of tables and chairs, a luxury 6 person hot tub featuring 54 jets with 3 powerful motors (filled year-round with fresh water), a 24 foot across x 51 inches deep above ground swimming pool with easy access pool stairs (child safety gates surround this deck), large gas grill, an extensive children’s playground with swings, slide, fort, climbing wall & kids’ picnic table, and a large level lawn area for playing, a volleyball net, a fire pit and there's even a fenced dog kennel (50' x 15') with shelter. The back of the cottage borders a 22 acre forest and the side yard borders a 14 acre meadow where you might meet our neighbor’s horses as they graze in their pasture....don't be surprised if they come to the fence begging for apples and carrots!
LIVING ROOM: The inviting cabin feel of the living room with a river stone gas log fireplace, rich dark pine floors, attractive comfortable sofas (1 is a queen sleeper bed) and furnishings will embrace you with its warm ambiance. You even have an awesome massage chair to relax you after a day of adventure! Be entertained by the 55 inch HDTV & DVD with premium stations, a large DVD movie library, and a Play Station Game Player with a dozen games. We also have high speed wireless Internet connection and phones with free local and long distance so you can stay in touch! Stay comfortable with central heat and air conditioning.
MASTER KING SUITE WITH PRIVATE BATH: The quietly elegant master suite will embrace you in rich restful comfort. You will feel like you’ve been transported to a beautiful spa! Feel pampered by the ultra plush King Bed with sumptuous bedding & gorgeous headboard, beautiful marble top tables & dresser with exquisite mirror, lovely décor, tiled floors with area rugs, and a romantic love seat for relaxing and watching your television with DVD/VCR. The generous windows with view of the lovely grounds offer plenty of natural light. In addition, this generous-size king suite offers a large walk-in closet and private bathroom with a gorgeous tile shower. It's everything you could want out of a North Carolina vacation home!
TWO QUEEN GUEST BEDROOMS: The two guest bedrooms with rich hardwood floors will spoil you with luxurious queen beds, 400 count sheets, cloud soft blankets and elegant comforters. Each room has its own TV. The beautiful furniture and décor in these rooms are pleasing to the eye and spirit. You’ll sleep well here! For additional guests sleeping there is a twin bed in the children's play area, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a twin air bed with quick inflate/deflate motor.
COUNTRY KITCHEN: The delightful eat-in kitchen will charm you with the quaint country cupboards and terra cotta tile floors. The kitchen appliances include stainless refrigerator with French doors and freezer drawer, ceramic cook top oven, dishwasher and microwave. The colorfully festive dinnerware will make you smile and the top quality cookware will please any chef! This cook’s kitchen is set up with everything you need for preparing meals at home. There’s a multitude of quality cookware and accessories to please any chef including a coffeemaker and coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. There’s an assortment of basic spices and plenty of storage space for your groceries. Just off the kitchen is a large capacity washer & dryer for your use.
CHILD & BABY FRIENDLY! For children, there is an indoor brightly colored play area filled with stuffed animals, kids’ books & games, soft blankies and a comfy twin bed with an outrageously soft plush comforter. For babies, we have a sturdy oak crib & bedding, Pack-N-Play, baby bath tub, sturdy baby stroller, high chair and more! On the other side of the play area are a large capacity washer & dryer for your use.
FOR CHILDREN & BABIES: Always important guests at our homes, we provide plenty to keep children entertained and enough baby equipment so parents can travel lightly. For babies there is a crib with bedding, pack-n-play, high chair, stroller, baby bath tub, cuddly stuffed animals and soft blankies. For kids there is a big outdoor playground with fort, slide, climbing wall and swings, toys, games and books.
