Tamarind Tree apartment offers 'a haven away from home' to visitors seeking tranquility and comfort while still having close access to restaurants, fast food outlets, supermarkets, pubs and the beach. The beachfront property is situated at Paynes Bay beach along the West Coast of Barbados and is approximately:

The apartment's elevation allows for cool breeze ventilation and a panoramic view of our garden, fish pond and the ocean, from its bay windows and seaside porch. A sea side tree perch is expected to be added shortly for our visitors uninterupted sunset viewing.
The property consist of two bedrooms (with air conditioning) - one bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the other two twin beds; two bathrooms with Living area and patio tastefully decorated for our visitors comfort. The open plan kitchen and Living room has a ceiling fan to assist with air circulation. Guest are treated to complimentary refreshment on arrival and all special request are attended to promptly.

We discovered this charming place two years ago. Even if the dwelling itself is simple, we are very comfortable and especially directly on the most beautiful beach of the island. Our guests Madeline and William are very generous and discreet. What we love of Barbados is the climate, but especially the people. The apartment is very well located. The bus stop is in front of the House and takes us all over the island. The grocery store is about 10 minutes by bus. We will return for a 3 rd year with our family. Thank you Madeline and William!

This was our first trip to the Barbados as well as any other Caribbean island. We loved the place and our staying at the apartment which was conveniently located and provided direct access to wonderful beach.The place is furnished to accommodate comfortable, and relax staying. Our hosts Bill and Mandy were very friendly and they made us feel like we were in our own house. We are thankful for their hospitality and friendliness.

What a great place to stay! William and Madeline are so warm and friendly, you will feel right at home. This was our second time staying here, and is my husband\'s favorite place to stay on the island. The apartment is spacious, has a lovely island breeze. The apartment is simply furnished, very comfortable, and well maintained. I loved having meals on the balcony, overlooking the most beautiful beach, with stunning sunsets. The fish cutters and rum punches made on location are the best. Snorkeling is great right off the beach, and you can swim with the turtles. There is easy access to local transportation and lots to do nearby. I can\'t wait to return. Great value for an exceptional location. Thank you Madeline and William. See you soon again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tamerind Tree Apartment on our family vacation in Barbados. My wife, (two kids aged two and four) and I came just before Christmas for six nights. First and foremost, the owners, William and Madeline, are extremely kind and welcoming hosts. William very generously offered to take us around the island while there. There\'s a bus stop steps from the apartment but with two young kids, it was much easier to get around by car. Chatting with William, learning about the island as well as getting to know him and his family was a real pleasure. In terms of the apartment itself, it\'s in a fabulous location, situated on the second floor of a beachfront house on Paynes Bay Beach. The water is extremely calm and clear. There are shallow reefs with plenty of fish and even sea turtles in the beach right outside! By the way, the apartment has its own separate entrance from their house so you have both privacy and accessibility to them should anything come up. I also want to note that they had the apartment cleaned twice while there (beds made, fresh towels, things tidied up, etc...). Lastly, at the time we made our booking they only had four pictures of the apartment posted which didn\'t do it justice at all as it turns out. While it\'s not decked out in swank, modern furniture, it has everything you need. There\'s a balcony with sea view which is really nice and a tree house on the property with a sea view too :) The apartment is a great value, we had a lovely time here and highly recommend it to others.

Our recent stay was great and more than met our expectations. Our hosts were very accommodating. The apartment is clean and everything works well from the ac\'s to the refrig. The second story view is beautiful. Payne\'s Bay is a very popular location as cruise ship passengers are found here just about every day in peak season. In fact Rihanna and Simon Crowell have condos about 300 yards away. There is a bit of activity around the apartment outside as the owners operate a beach grill. But the positives are the good food and bar right outside. All the folks you\'ll interact with are friendly and helpful. Try to get to know \"Eddie\" the local beach entrepreneur. What a character. We highly recommend this unit and the people who will take care of you.

e could not have chosen a better location for accommodations, surrounding beach activities, and helpful, friendly company. Madaline and William were readily available to help us deal with any concerns, places to see, transportation, or activities available. Payne\'s Beach is immediately out front, with multiple family water activities (paddle boards, kayaks, water skidoos/skiing etc). Go to left water front you swim/snorkel with the turtles, while to the right, you have a buoyed sandy swim area safe for all level of swimmers where hours were spent in the warm waters. Each day we had our own padded sun loungers and umbrella available, set up for us, at prime location at the water\'s edge. Close at hand a few steps away is the beach bar and grill with great fruit smoothies and food. This was the place to be, as catamaran tours came to anchor in this bay, to view the day\'s end sunsets. Our apartment was roomy, featuring a large living space with ceiling fan and doors that could be left open to the balcony to allow cooling breezes. Both the bedrooms have good air conditioning units, if needed, for cooler night time sleeping. We enjoyed cleaning service, the private entrance to come and go, welcoming drinks in the fridge on arrival, a well equipped kitchen, satellite TV, and available internet. We felt as if we were visiting a large extended family between the family members, beach vendors, and staff all of whom were extremely friendly and helpful with any requests. This was our third visit to Barbados and by far our favorite location because of the people who shared the time with us.

The apartment is in the heart of paynes bay. The owner is very good and always ready to find solutions to the guest request. A major plus is a guy called Sammy. He brings freshly catched tuna almost every day and he is a surfing teacher if you want to have fun.
