Another fabulous stay at Golden View apartments. Fully equipped for all your needs and set in beautifully maintained tropical gardens with swiming pool and bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a chinese and the food is really delicious. The locals even buy their takeaways from there. The pool is for residents only and is cleaned every morning. Take your pick from the sunbeds by the pool, or the tables with umbrellas in the lush gardens. The wild green monkeys pay regular visits to the gardens to pinch mangoes off the tree, it's magical, (we saw them almost every day this time!) Take a walk to Holetown (10 mins) to visit the chattel house gift shops, Massy's food store or the beach. The beach is located at the side of the police station. Here you will also find two great beach bars Zacchios and Surfside. Surfside plays most of the big football matches if you fancy that, but I preferred to laze under a palm tree with a nice cold Banks beer and watch the world go by! Both of these bars have happy hours at different times, but if you're after some posh nosh head to Tides or The Beach House. There are plenty of watersports to choose from on the Holetown beach too where you can catch a boat to go and swim with the sea turtles. Sunday night is a great night to party on 1st street where they hold a karaoke in the street. And if you prefer something a bit quieter there is a cinema in the Limegrove centre accross the street now. We will definitely return as the location is amazing, if you don't have a car and want to do some island adventuring the yellow buses are fun, regular and it's still only $2 anywhere on the island! You will find it hard not to fall in love with this place.Thanks for a great stay.

My wife and I have been fortunate to stay at Golden View several times and on our last visit for 4 weeks we stayed in the lovely apartment 405. The apartment is owned by Peter & Doris Stephens who resided at Golden View for several years. Whilst we were at Golden View Doris very kindly kept us aware of any local events taking place. The apartment has lovely views overlooking the grounds and large swimming pool. My wife and I used to have breakfast whilst watching the ocean liners in the distance sail into Barbados. On an evening we could watch the sunset over the sea. The apartment is well furnished with one en-suite bedroom,living room,dining area, balcony with breakfast table, chairs and two small lounges , tv, telephone, small kitchen with cooker, large fridge/ freezer, microwave, air conditioning unit in the bedroom (which is coin operated). Because of the good design of the building there is a good ventilation and with this & the fitted ceiling fans we found that we didn’t need to use the air conditioning unit. The large grounds are exceptionally well maintained as is the swimming pool. There are always ample sun beds and lounges for everybody to sunbathe by the pool or to sit in the shade of the trees in the grounds. The swimming pool is open from early morning until early evening and the Chinese restaurant which is in the grounds provides good meals or Take always at a reasonable price. There is a 24 hour Reception/ Security service. We didn’t want to leave & we can’t wait to go again. You won’t have any regrets if you stay here other than not wanting to leave.

Myself, my 9 year old daughter and Partner all stayed in 405 for the Easter Holidays. The Apartment was spacious for all of us, a lovely Balcony for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, which we did a lot and made use of the well equipped kitchen. It was so lovely to see the Sunset and the boats sailing from the balcony in the evening with a Mount Gay Rum! You could see the Monkey's in the Mango Trees from our balcony every morning. The Pool and grounds are beautiful, spacious and relaxing. The walk to the beach, supermarket and bars takes 5 minutes. There is also a lovely Luxury shopping centre and Second Street, 10 mins walk away with Live Music. The Apartment has ample parking, and 24 hour security, the reception staff are always there to help too. We will definitely be going back, highly recommended!

My husband and I have recently stayed in this lovely apartment. It is on the 3rd floor and has fine views of the garden and pool but is away from the main road. The apartment is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The two single beds are extremely comfortable! The large balcony has two sofa beds plus a table and two chairs, ideal for relaxing on. Goldenview is an exceptionally enjoyable place to stay.

This was the third time we have stayed at Peter and Doris\'s Golden View Apartments, the first two in the top floor apartment and this time in Apartment 307 on the third floor. Got to say that our preference is the top floor but only because the view from the balcony is better, (you can see the ships going into Bridgetown from the top floor). However, this did not stop us thoroughly enjoying our stay. The apartment (307) has everything that you would want from an apartment: very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. The location is superb in being so close to Holetown centre, especially using the short-cut through the park off Cherry Avenue. You can enjoy the diversity of the many classy restaurants and bars in and around Holetown, or you can enjoy the lively ambience of the Surfside bar. What\'s nice about Golden View is that if you want a quiet night in you can get a take-away from the Chinese restaurant in the grounds, and just chill out in the apartment (we watched the election results!!!) All in all a very enjoyable time as before and we will certainly go again.

We have stayed 5 times at Goldenview and find that the apartments offer everything that we require.307 has all that you require.Goldenview is in a wonderful garden setting and is quiet and secure.Highly recommended.
