#506-1 The Beach House (Captain’s Suite)  These vacation rental units are located only 2 miles from downtown Ketchikan. The house is as close as you can get to the ocean. This is a busy waterway where all of the large ships come through on the way in or out of the Ketchikan harbor. Otter, seals, orca and humpback whales are frequently seen. There are eagles that regularly perch on a pole near the water. The view is ever changing and the activity of the waterway of the Tongass Narrows is very entertaining. Captain’s Suite is a completely equipped 2000 sq. ft. three-bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms have a private bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed size bed and a private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and an extra long twin bed and a private bath. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private bath. There is also an extra-long twin bed in the alcove of the living room. This large unit has big windows that wrap around the living room & dining room area. It also has a private laundry room with washer and dryer. There is a Smart TV for online streaming only. There are two one bedroom suites on the upper level. The Captain’s Suite is on the lower level and has three bedroom with three bathrooms. All of the suites have decks that face the ocean.
