The Granary was originally the grain store at Howscales. Entering it through the Reception area, this is one of three cottages with reverse accommodation. On the ground floor is a cosy double bedroom with views across the garden towards Geltsdale fells. There is also a shower room with toiletries, soft towels and lots of hot water. A curved panelled staircase leads up to the second floor open plan, beamed, well equipped kitchen/living area. Comfortable leather chairs and views up to Hartside and across the courtyard makes this cottage a light, airy, cosy retreat for two. |
