This romantic secluded retreat of your dreams boasts its own lovers nest, swing, designer decor in a two-story private home. Best for those wanting to escape from the crowds of the city and immerse themselves in tranquility on 43 acres of forest property with private hiking trails to explore.
EV charger and Starlink. The guest house is located within 300 feet of the unique stone house of Mariposa where the host lives. This “Gateway to Yosemite” is only 50 minutes from the park.
The space
When you want somewhere beautiful, luxurious and homely that’s in a quiet mountainous neighborhood near nothing but nature and the quiet, this is your home. It is a 2 story home with designer aesthetics and basic needs for a quiet retreat.
Guest access
The guest house is within 300 feet of the unique stone house of Mariposa, where the host lives. You'll have the surrounding area, including the fire pit, private pond, and many hiking trails. You can use the carport to park away from the elements!
Other things to note
Yosemite National Park South Gate Entrance in Fish Camp is 1 h drive from Lovers nest. Yosemite Entrance located in El Portal where Yosemite Valley is located takes 1 h drive. Travel times get longer during weekend rush hours and holidays.
The property is not fully fenced and is located in a secluded place. All of the soundings of Yosemite National Park including urban areas have the component of wildlife. Some of the local animals that can be observed on a daily basis include deer, turkeys, squirrels, hawks, and rabbits. Not as common animals to see but living in the area are coyotes, bears, mountain lions, raccoons, opossum, skunk, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions. Poison oak and poison ivy are also elements of local flora.
All of California including the Sierra Nevada area is seasonally experiencing wildfires which are natural occurrences in the area. Some of the species like sequoias need fire to reproduce. Wildfires are likely to happen between June and November.

Pets additional fee $150 per stay. 5. No cancelations due to smoke or air quality under 200 (AirNow.gov). 6. $500 fine for staying at the property with more people than shown in the reservation. 7. $500 fine for noise complaint submitted to the police during quiet hours. 8. $500 fine for copyright infringement complaint (DMCA) using house network. 9. $500 fine for smoking detected inside property.
