Vecchia Casa Farmhouse in Umbria

This holiday apartment is located on the 1st floor of a recently restored farmhouse in Umbria with its own private entrance. It's furnished in typical rustic style with exposed beams, stone walls, hand made "cotto" floors and antiques, but using modern fittings to ensure your comfort. There are lovely views of the surrounding hills covered in olive groves and vineyards. A fully equipped kitchenette is provided for self-catering. There's a garden patio with pergola and table and chairs for the exclusive use of our guests. A parking area is just a few metres away from the apartment.

In addition we offer organic, seasonal produce from our vegetable garden.

There's an old bread oven in the garden which may be used both as a BBQ or for making pizzas.

The owners live on site and are happy to offer assistance to make your visit more enjoyable. Local Umbrian produce may be purchased from neighbouring farmers who offer a range of products from homemade cheese and yogurts to eggs and olive oil. Within view is the village of Fontignano where Umbria's renowned 15th century artist Perugino died and is buried. Both his tomb and famous fresco Madonna with Child painted just before his death may be viewed.
