This is a lovely beach view two-bedroom, two-bath Palm Beach Club condominium, just across the street from the pristine, undeveloped beach, right at the gates of Fort Pickens, and adjacent to the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Enjoy long beach walks on beaches the way nature intended for them to be.
King in master; one queen and a single futon in the guest bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa and single futon in the living area bring the total sleeping to six (both bedrooms located on lower level). The kitchen has been recently renovated and redesigned to make it much more spacious than is normally the case with this floor plan. The kitchen and living area are open and ideally set up for entertaining. This is not your father’s Palm Beach Club condo
Private Gulf facing balconies off of both the living area and master bedroom offer an ideal place for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. This complex offers a Sound front community pool and easy access to the undeveloped beach directly across Fort Pickens Road. There is also a great beach area on the Sound side that is perfect for small children or those who prefer calmer water.
A single covered parking spot is reserved for this unit, which can accommodate two average length vehicles parked one in front of the other...

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Straight across the street from the gulf, picnic area, grills, and a short bike ride to the boardwalk.

Loved loved loved the location. Did I mention I loved the location:)! it is right before you get to the park there in Pensacola. It is secluded and away from main attraction spot.The way we like it! The condo was very nice and cozy. No complaints about the stay in condo. Will definitely go again to this location. We like being off the beaten path and to ourselves when it comes to vacation time.

We loved this location. It was just a short walk across the street to beach. The beach was beautiful and easy to get to. It is nice to have a place at the condo to wash off before going up to condo with 3 kids. It is nice to have all the amenities of home on vacation. This is the second year we have stayed in this condo for our vacation. It is at the calm end of the island and very relaxing.

Almost didn’t write this review as I’m tempted to keep this info to myself. We’ve stayed at Palm Beach Club on and off for over twenty years. Also go to Destin and Gulf shores. Love this location though at the end of the strip with the Gulf on one side and sound on the other. There are no bad views from any condo and 244 did not disappoint. The renovations they’ve done to open the kitchen are beautiful (btw it’s very well stocked) and the tall ceilings make it feel huge. The unit was very clean and had lots of thoughtful extras such as books, movies and games (ms Pac-Man was a hit and prompted an ongoing tournament during downtime). I give this unit a 4.9 out of 5 stars-only 2 potential negatives: it was a little hard to keep this unit cool with those tall ceilings but we like it pretty cool-69 to 70. Could get it to 72-73 during the day and maybe 71-72 at night. Only other potential issue was the Uverse TV didn’t work well at all

We were in town from Mobile,Al. to get some R&R and to "take in" a little Smooth Jazz. Overall, unit #244 was worth the mountain climbing. :) The views from the double balconies are just fantastic and having direct access to the beach is so nice without being in a high rise. Satalite TV going in and out was annoying. Prior guest have noted similar experiences in the guest register,so bring movies you may want to catch up on or try one of the few that are available. The mattress in the master is very comfortable and to see the trolley go by daily was such a delight.
