This house is 150 steps from carpark uphill..backpacks or light luggage advised..2 story 3 bedroom new house..tile floors excellent views of east harbor.fans and mosquito nets over beds..typical Jamaican neighborhood..outdoor private covered hammock space.this cottage is ideal for families or older couples.we appreciate if guests give us an approx.time of arrival also we are easier to find before dark(6pm) and prefer if u reach by 9pm if possible..no hot water tho u can heat it on the stove
The space
this cottage is ideal for families ,small groups or older couples who would like more space and don't want to trek farther up the hill..we are discounting this house until we build up a larger review base

one of the bedroom sheets had some type of stain on both the mattress sheet and the cover sheet. fans were dirty with dust flying off when turned on. mosquito nets smelled old, some had holes in them. as a woman, the most important room for me is the bathroom and the toilet. bathroom dirty ( floor, toilet, shower) I had to clean the toilet and shower floor before using. other floors were not as clean as advertised but the bathroom was more important to me. we also ran out of gas in the stove in the middle of cooking. and the host whom lived a stone throw away noted that it would take 30 minutes for someone to bring us gas. we had to get ourselves to complete our cooking task. We checked out a few days earlier. the host was a very nice man, he gave us breadfruit to eat which my son loved and he was very gentle spoken and that is why we stayed some.

This place was amazing! A beautiful view over Port Antonio. Not only the accomodation was nice but Michael is a very welcoming host. We had such a good time talking to him and we were provided whatever we needed. Definetly recommend this place to others.

Awesome place! Quite rustic, but that makes the charm of the house. In the heights of Port Antonio, you will have to climb a few steps, but the view and the surroundings are so nice and peaceful. Michael is a great host, I recommend!
