Gallo del Mar in Sayulita is a beachfront property with two private homes separated by a large privacy wall. For large groups of up to 16 guests, this can be opened up and your enitre group can enjoy 7 bedrooms, 6 baths, with two pools, all just steps from the beach on the sought after north side of Sayulita.
The amenities at Gallo del Mar are abundant and include two swimming pools, one larger pool and one smaller dipping pool. Direct beach access, two fully equipped kitchens, private parking, daily housekeeping, safes for your valuables, WiFi, telephone, beach chairs and beach towels.

Puerto Vallarta Airport
Sayulita is about 45 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. We highly recommend booking a shuttle through our Property Manager Lucia luciavalencia@prodigy.net.mx who will have an air conditioned, large capacity shuttle van awaiting you at the airport exit. They will make any stops you require on the way out of PV to Sayulita (Costco, Walmart, Mega, etc.) and they are professional, punctual and the most affordable option for large groups. This also makes for accurate check in as Lucia will know your exact time of arrival and be able to be at the house waiting for you to go over anything you will need and give you the keys.
Driving Directions
When you are coming from PV, the turn off the highway into Sayulitawill be on the LEFT. Drive about 1 mile in and you will see shops and the town of Sayulitabegin and there are 3 streets before you cross the bridge. Take one of the first 2 to the RIGHT (towards the water) and drive about 2 blocks (until you can't go straight any further or you will hit the water). This is Palmer Avenue. Turn RIGHT (North) on Palmer Avenue and follow it (parallel to the beach) for about 6 or 7 blocks (staying to the left at the fork by the school) until you see the driveway on your LEFT marked 92 CASA GALLO/EL TEMPLITO near the end of Palmar Ave.The driveway is steep and goes down around a corner before the house comes into view. THE ENTRANCE TO THE CASITA IS ALONG THE FAR NORTH SIDE OF THE HOUSE. Lucywill be waiting at the house to let you in and go over everything when you arrive!
House Access: Check in (4pm)/Check out (10am)
Lucia, our property manager, has the keys and will need to know the approximate time of your arrival to the house so that we can arrange for her to meet you there, give you the set of keys and go through the house with you. Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10 am. Please let us know if you need to make arrangements outside of these times and please understand that we must adhere to these times as we often have same day arrivals and need to be sure that we have ample time to have the house fully prepared for you but this is not always the case and then we are more than happy to be flexible with those, please just ask us first!
Getting Around
Downtown Sayulitais a short 15 minute stroll down either the road or beach. The driveway is steep but there is ample parking provided for rental vehicles or golf carts. We ourselves rent golf carts for our stays, it makes quick trips to town a breeze, the kids love it and beats carrying a case of Corona home by hand! We use Pacific Coast Golf Carts in Sayulita, you can book online with them and they can have your carts waiting at the house for you upon your arrival.
Hiring a Chef
Please contact our property manager Lucia about the options of hiring her to cook for you during your stay. There is also an excellent “catering” section of the Sayulita Life website with recommendations of local chefs for hire.
Cooking/Eating
We have tried to stock the house with everything you would need to cook yourselves meals as well as provide a few spices and extras in the cupboards for your stay. Of course, these will vary from renter to renter as things are used up and added with each family.
We recommend using bottled water for drinking but the tap water is suitable for dishes and cooking if boiled. As a general practice we also soak all our fruits and vegetables in an iodine solution Fill the sink with tap water and put about 10 drops of the solution provided into the basin of water, let soak for 30 minutes.
Housekeeping
The housekeeping staff arrive daily (except Sundays & holidays). The floors, beds, bathrooms and pools will be attended to but we ask that the guests please assume responsibility for their dishes and common areas.
Wifi
There is wireless internetat the house but please remember this is MEXICAN WIFI! It works wonderfully some days and not at all other days but we do our best to have top quality modems and routers at the house to help enhance the service when it is available.
Events/Parties
We offer accommodation ONLY and do not host weddings or events at the house. Any groups larger than 10 people held at the house may have an event fee applied.
Security
Please take care to lock your personal belongings in the safes provided! Always lock ALL doors, windows and patios when you are leaving the house and is even a good idea when you are down on the beach or lower patio and not watching the house and to lock bedrooms doors behind you, even when home. We do not take responsibility for any lost or stolen items.
House
We take a lot of pride in our homes, please treat it as you would your own home! We do take an inventory of the items in the house such as the glassware, towels, chairs and kitchen supplies. If items are lost or broken, a charge may apply. Please report any damaged items to the staff.
Cancellations
Early check outs or cancellations cannot be refunded if the house is unable to be re-rented during that time.

Tipping
Tips are entirely up to you the guest but we do ask that if you choose to leave a tip, please leave it with Lucy to disperse amongst the staff evenly rather than leaving it out. Thank you!

Christmas Week & New Years Week : $1498 USD/Night Nightly rates include daily housekeeping and are the same if they are rented together or separately. THERE ARE NO OTHER FEES OR TAXES, YOUR STAY IS THE NIGHTLY RATE x NUMBER OF NIGHTS STAYED. There is a $500 refundable damage deposit that is returned within 2 weeks of your stay. Reservations are confirmed once we have received a completed booking form and 50% of the rental fee. Rental invoices are sent by email for wire transfer to our US account or can be paid by credit card for a 5% Paypal fee. The remaining 50% rental fee and a $500 refundable damage deposit are charged 30 days prior to arrival.

We rented both Casa Gallo and Casita del Mar for a family vacation (8 adults 6 children). We had such a wonderful time! The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen well appointed and the common area so comfortable. There is plenty of space to quietly read or gather to socialize. The pools are small but sparkling clean and very refreshing. The sunsets are stunning and you can enjoy them right from the casa. Literally steps to the beach. We enjoyed the walk into town but also rented a golf cart as we had little ones who found it a bit far. It was handy to have the cart to bring in groceries as well. Lucy, the property manager made a delicious dinner for us one night and even arranged to have a trio play for us! A very special birthday celebration! The staff is friendly and keep the houses very clean. If we are ever back in Sayulita, we would love to stay in Casa Gallo and the casita again. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Go! You won't be disappointed!

My now-wife and I rented out Casa Gallo + the Casita (the full property) last week for our wedding in Sayulita. It was simply the perfect place for us and a large group of our friends to stay - removed from the hustle and bustle of town, but easily accessible. This part of the beach was my favorite to swim in; the two pools were great to have; the house is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff was excellent. Spending our mornings and afternoons lounging in the many chairs by the ocean was exactly what we wanted. A perfect place to get ready to be married with my wedding party. Highly recommend!

We were completely blown away by how huge the common spaces were and how unbelievable the view was from every angle. We rented casa Gallo for one week in June for a family reunion of 11 people and spread out on 3 floors, we never felt crowded. What a luxury to have Biki come and clean up everyday and have Ismael around to take care of the outdoor space. The multiple level pools were so perfect for our kids ranging from 2 to 10 that I have been inspired to try to build one in my yard now! There is a wonderful space with loungers right next to the ocean under palm trees shade which proved to be the most relaxing place to read a book. Overall the experience was Fantastic!!! and I would love to go back year after year!

In town for a family wedding, with extended family staying in the 2 houses that are attached.. It couldn't have worked better! the houses are fantastic (the beach, the views, the pools, the décor). The houses are well cared for, and the on-site staff (which comes in daily) were so great and unobtrusive. The location is a bit of a walk from town, but well worth the peace and quiet. recommend renting a golf cart while in Sayulita, which makes it super easy to get around. Highly recommend one or both of these houses - just a fantastic vacation!

The sunsets, the sound of the surf, the large covered porch, the outside sitting area by the beach, the short walk to the village along the beach or the street, made Casa Gallo the perfect place for us to escape the cold, rainy weather in Louisiana.Lucy and staff did an excellent job and cooked some delicious meals for us.I highly recommend Sayulita and Casa Gallo for a low key getaway.
