The Sea Horse Ranch Beach Club is under new management since 2011 and new life has been breathed into what was already our most breathtaking amenity. Of particular note, there is usually live music at least once a month making the Beach Club the place to be.

 

The Menu:

The menu is as varied as the multi-national managers, Anahid & Vatche Avakian. These two foodies are from Montreal, Canada, a city well known for its restaurants.

 

The cuisine is primarily Mediterranean with a wide choice of fresh salads, pastas, grilled seafoods, and classics such as the Filet Mignon in porcini, or Gorgonzola sauces to name a few. Children and the young at heart are always happy to see items such as yummy burgers and pizzas (thin crust!) which can be ordered with sophisticated toppings for adults or just the way kids like it...cheese please...

Those who crave ethnic foods are some of our most regular clients seeking out the Tabbouleh, Falafel, Hummus, Shish-kabob and Fatouch Salad not to mention it's the only place we know of in the Dominican Republic where you can get the Baklava enjoyed with a glass of fresh mint tea.

The Seaside Pools at the Beach Club were completed in 2002 for the pleasure of the entire Sea Horse Ranch Community. The Fisher Group from Arizona was hired for initial construction and Tempool Inc. from Florida completed the Sunstone Pearl finishing.

 

The pool is designed with a natural aesthetic that blends with the natural beauty of the El Bosque nature reserve which features more than 15 different tree species and is home to an abundance of herrings, gulls and marine crustaceans. The main pool features two hydrotherapy cascades, is five feet deep and holds 87,000 gallons of water. The smaller pool, designed for children, is two feet deep and holds 14,000 gallons. Guests and villa owners enjoy the pool's ocean views and it has become a significant socializing point and meeting place for the community.

The Equestrian Center at Sea Horse Ranch offers organized tours on over 7 miles of bridal paths and beaches as well as instruction in riding, dressage and jumping for advanced riders and novices alike. Our stable boards Paso Finos, Tennessee Walkers, quarter horses and thoroughbreds as well as ponies for the little ones. If you're interested in riding horses in the Dominican Republic, the Sea Horse Ranch Equestrian Center is the place. We are a friendly, lively riding school with a wealth of experience in developing the skills of both the capable rider and the enthusiastic novice. Each and every client is treated as an individual and our own special 'community' is enriched by people of all abilities, from all walks of life, with one thing in common - a love of horses and riding. Each riding lesson is tailored in line with ability, and we cater for all levels from the complete beginner through to the more advanced requiring dressage or jumping tuition. We also offer horse training and lessons in 'natural horsemanship'
