We love the Little Cottage @ Seagrove. It is our favorite place even though we have two other nice places in Destin. The cottage is not a luxury destination. But it has natural beauty, it is close to the beach, it is close to Eastern Inlet Lake, it is close to several State Parks, it gives me the sound and smell of the surf, it gives my soul peace to be here, and it gives my tired overworked wallet a rest.

The daily rate does not include the cleaning fee or taxes.
A reservation can be made and confirmed by sending a $200 reservation check to Charlie Black 3588 Broadway Rd. Bartlett, TN 38135.
The balance and the separate $200 refundable damage deposit are due no later than one month before the rental.

Why it is Famous : It is famous because, after you have been here once you will be compelled to come back.
Facts About Destination : Seagrove and the surrounding beach communities are served by large Publix grocery approx. a mile away and a Tom Thumb Convenience store about a 1/2 mile away. There are numerous good restuarants and shops in the area.

Why visit : The cottage is located within a short walk to Eastern Lake and the Gulf Beach. Eastern Lake is an inlet which often connects itself to the gulf. The area is surrounded by a hugh state forest and has a natural beauty of dunes , tropical plants and trees, dune lakes, the gulf and surf and beatiful skies both day and night.
How to reach : The cottage is located just off Florida 30 A. Go south from Interstate 10 on US 331 across the bay to US 98, go east on us 98 for 3 miles to CR 395, take right and go 2 miles past the Publix Grocery to 2 lane Florida 30A take a left and go 1 1/2 miles to Eastern Lake drive.
Best time to visit : It is always a great time to escape to the beach. The water in the gulf is comfortable from May to November. The beauty of the natural wonders of the gulf are there year round. Bird, plants, water, winf, surf, and adventure
Transport system : Personal automobile is the best bet. Once there bikes, walking and golf carts are prominent.
Precautions : Watch the surf flags and read up on what they mean for information on the gulf.
Life style culture : Quiet and laid back are the main charateristics of the area. The natural beauty of the area and the rural nature take a predominate role in providing a restful tropical setting.
