Snowline Cabin #13 - Welcome to The Big Rock Lodge, An Architectural Gem! Pet Friendly with Wi-Fi! This custom octagonal 3-story, 2+ bedroom, 2-bath family vacation home perched on top of a knoll is an architectural gem, with lots of light and all of the bells and whistles! The ground floor entryway features ceramic tile floors with a freestanding gas fireplace and an ad-hoc game room, complete with a ping pong table and plenty of space to store your gear—winter and summer. Ascending the stairwell brings you to the main floor, featuring the master bedroom with 1-king sized bed and a large full-length closet. Step into the generous living room/dining room area with hardwood floors, a beautiful gas fireplace to cozy up to, a large screen monitor with wifi, a hide-a-bed, and three sides of windows that bring in lots of natural sunlight—perfect for family entertaining. The unique, fully equipped galley style kitchen features ceramic tile floors and countertops, a separate stove top and oven, as well as a built-in microwave oven. Also included in the kitchen is a laundry cubby with a full size washer and dryer. Finally, the main floor also includes one large full bath. Step up to the third floor and you’ll discover a carpeted bonus room/loft with a queen-sized futon and a DVD/VHS/monitor—perfect for the kids—a large bath, and a unique pine-lined bedroom with 1-queen sized bed. Just outside the main floor living room is a partial wraparound deck for winding down the day while gazing at the stars, and just out back is a private 6-person outdoor hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day of some of the best skiing and hiking anywhere! This beautiful and pet friendly monitored family vacation property will sleep 4 to 8-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). |
Reservations: Reservations are subject to a 2-night minimum stay during regular periods, and a 3-night minimum stay during holiday and special event periods. The person making the reservations must be at least 23 years of age, ID required at time of check-in. Upon confirmation of reservation from Mt. Baker Lodging (reservations@mtbakerlodging.com), a packet of information will be sent to the guest with information and directions. An Advance Reservation Payment equal to 50% of the total reservation cost, including tax, is required to reserve a vacation property. The remaining balance is considered due-in-full 14-days prior to our Guest's scheduled date of arrival, and is automatically debited to our Guest's credit card on the scheduled due-date. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount, unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (whichever amount is greater) will apply. Payments: We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express as forms of payment. Sorry, NO personal checks. Check-In: All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls. Here they will receive keys as well as location information.
