RATE STRUCTURE
All rates are based on 1-6 Guests. We charge $25.00 per person per night for each additional guest above 6. This charge per additional guest is to cover additional cleaning costs. We recognize that numbers can change between the time of booking and arrival so please call or email us of any change so we can adjust your payment up or down. Because we have discovered that some people were not truthful, our caretaker now monitors the number of guests. I don’t know where some of these people think they could stay for $25.00 per night. It is always the few that spoil it for all.
Minimum three night stay- Exemption
Two nights will be considered within two weeks of arrival date; subject to availability. A $150 house cleaning fee will apply for two night stays IF confirmed. Please email owner for availability and confirmation. |

The property was nice, nestled in the mountains. Far from groceries! Although it has enough beds for the capacity listed, know this isn’t a 5 bedroom. The 5th bedroom is 2 twin beds in a little hall in the basement on concrete floor.

This home is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We have a large family that met at the home for a few days to unplug and reconnect. This was a wonderful choice! We did not have cell, but that may have been due to our carrier. However, we were able to text. And with the WiFi, we had all the connection we needed. Just an FYI, there is a small market about 15 minuets away but the closest grocery store is almost 45 min. So pack accordingly. I honestly can’t say anything negative about the home. It was large, comfortable, with lots of privacy, serene with large gathering areas. We spent much of our time on the oversized deck soaking in the views. We will definitely put this home on our short list of places to revisit.

This large luxurious log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Floyd, VA is perfect for any family retreat or vacation. You will find plenty of indoor and outdoor living space, a well appointed and furnished kitchen, comfortable bedding and living room furniture, as well as an oversized garage, three refrigerators, two washer/dryers, etc. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning in the future. Kudos to the owners and property manager! Thank you for taking such good care of this vacation home.

The home was very private and well appointed. Everything worked and was very clean. The home could use new matttesses, lounge chairs for sunning on large deck, and improvements to the driveway. Don’t bring the corvette or 911, unless you willing to practice your off road rally skills you won’t make it to the house. I can see how motorcycles will have hard time as well. It’s very steep, rocky, with 90 degree turn. The location is rather rural. Your a good 30 minutes from anything with very curvy roads, fun for the sports car or bike, nausiting for whomever is in back of SUV. If you looking for a break for civilization and willing to bring food you’ll will love it here. We had a great time, with no issues with the home. We had 4 wheel drive for the driveway.

Loved it except for power being out for several hours, but that was not a fault of the home as it was the power co. area outage due to storms.
