2 sprawling Mediterranean compound retreats, nestled on 6 majestic acres surrounded by Palms, cacti, and Pepper tress, under the stars, promises to deliver a rejuvenating stay unlike any other. Our 7,000 and 6,000 sq ft estate sleeps 42, comes with beds made up with 100% cotton, 350-400 thread count luxury linens and flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms. There are 2 spacious professional cooks kitchens, and outdoor BBQ grills.
Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee on the patio overlooking the vistas after a hike on one of the many trails on the grounds and see wildlife at its best, or go horseback riding on one of the beautiful horses that live on the property, followed by a relaxing swim in our private swimming pool.

Was fortunate enough to not only stay at this property. But also get married there in November of 2014. Both homes are incredible and offer beautiful panoramic views and every amenity you could want. I swear not too many days pass without hearing one of the 40-50 people in our group reflect on the home and the fun nights spent around the outdoor fireplaces. If you're lucky enough to actually get to spend any amount of time with Bob, the owner, he will surely make you feel welcome. He did so much for us to make our trip, and wedding perfect. if you're thinking about pulling the trigger on a vacation home in the area I can't recommend these properties enough. Everything was perfect from the booking at the beginning to the exit at the end. What a place. And the owner Bob was the best he made sure all was perfect. He would check in with us daily the chef was perfect....the houses and grounds were great. What a wonderful meeting myself and the team had...we will be back for sure.......

This is a fantastic property. It has everything you needs. Tons of space and beds great for large families or groups. The pool is an amazing place to lounge and even has a diving board which the kids love. Bob gave us horseback riding lessons and a terrific instructor and very knowledgeable. The property is very well kept and sits on a large 2 acre lot. It felt like we were on a ranch in the country but very close drive to grocery store, restaurants, and even the beach. My family and I had a great time and can't wait to come back and visit again. I'd strongly suggest staying here.

The property was breathtaking! The view was incredible. The home was clean & had a homey feel to it. The owner Bob was wonderful. I did not want to leave. You must stay here & enjoy the ranch.

What an AMAZING property! I was here for a women's book club retreat and it was absolutely incredible. Our theme was Rest, Relax & Rejuvenate. We could not have picked a more perfect place. Everything that you need for a memorable time is right here. Our mornings began with long walks around the property, and hiking the nearby trails. the afternoons were filled with horseback riding, playing tennis, jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pools, and relaxing in the spa. Our nights were filled with music either singing Karaoke indoors or listening to jazz on the patio with the fire pit and heaters on, while drinking wine from Orfilia winery. The owner, Bob Goetz was absolutely wonderful and made certain that everything we could possibly want was at our disposal. We had massages at the ranch, courtesy of Pam that Bob arranged for us. Undoubtedly Bob is one heck of a concierge and must have a PhD in Hospitality!!! I definitely recommend this property and plan on bringing my family for the holidays. You cannot go wrong by staying @ The Ranch Resort. When I left, I was rested, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Thanks Bob for a Fantastic stay!

Overall the property, both houses, served our family gathering exceptionally well! We loved the location with so much nature easily accessible & many different spaces inside & out for us to gather & play or to get some alone time. Bob was very responsive to any inquiries. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the property for any future gathering.

This property is very special. We had a 35 person family reunion here, and everyone loved the property -- Two pools and a hot tub, tennis court (which can easily be converted to a Pickleball court), Grand Piano, two pool tables, three Pinball machines, two video game machines, beautiful paintings and decorations, grills and balcony tables with fire pits to keep you warm during the nippy nights. Cloudless days and star-filled nights. Our group loved the horses and wild rabbits on the property and some of us went mountain bike riding. The houses are located within a fenced property, accessible only through the security gates, so everything is very secure and the property felt intimate to our group. Bob, the owner, is very accommodating and knowledgable about the area and hands-on. A wonderful time was had by all...thanks, Bob!

The Ranch by the Sea & Tennis Ranch Estates were the perfect accommodations for our 3-generation family reunion back in July. Our family of 30+ (ages 2-84) had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of activities onsite to keep us entertained. (Bob keeps the house well stocked with tennis rackets, pool toys & towels, bikes & beach gear to borrow. He was also quick to respond to questions.) In fact, because many were from out of state, people wanted to explore the surrounding San Diego area, so we really could have spent more days at the estates enjoying the houses & amenities. There was ample storage & refrigerator space in both kitchens so we could stock up on food & drinks. The only "challenge" we had was with room assignments. We had to accommodate the needs of our 9 senior family members, as well as families with young children who required rooms with restrooms nearby and/or rooms on the ground floor. (Two rooms are detached from the house & require walking across the patio into the house for bathroom access. One room is by the pool. Also, one room needs to be accessed through another room and through a shared bathroom.) Overall, the grandkids & adult kids had a great time in the pool, bouncing on the trampoline, playing tennis, basketball, ping pong & arcade games, and the grandparent generation loved watching the family around them & having a place to sit, relax & talk all day & all night. This was the perfect reunion location where we could all be together, yet have our own separate activities as well.

Wow! Could not be happier with this place. What a beautiful spot in an amazing location. The pictures don't do it justice. The vibe there is just outstanding. The kids loved the pool and seeing the horses. They also really liked seeing the fireworks from Sea World every night. I could sit on that patio for the rest of my life and just take in the views. I will definitely be staying here again. Bob was a tremendous host.

Enjoyed the property and the pool very much. The pool was especially fun, with the hot tub. We’re very pleased the owner downloaded the pool and hot tub app on our cell phone so we could turn it on and off when our children and grandchildren got in and out. We had a great time,

Around thirty of my undergraduate class stayed in Bob’s estate and we had a blast. Bob himself was very accommodating and responsive. The houses were clean and had a lovely view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend.

Our group of 22 friends had an amazing time at the Ranch. The outdoor seating was so comfortable with the couches and fire pit and we were able to fit our whole group. We enjoyed the pool, tennis, hiking, walking to lunch, driving to the beach and more. The hiking trails are so beautiful and there is a circular path that takes an hour to walk that we did every day. The pool and spa area was so nice we spent hours hanging out and relaxing. The views from the path are breathtaking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchens were spacious. Bob was very helpful and available for any questions. This is an annual trip for our group and we are planning on coming back again next year.

This was the perfect place for our family gathering. Two separate houses allowed for the group to split off to the quiet house whenever they wanted to. There was a lot of activities for the kids and adults to do without having to leave the property. The ping pong table, video games (big hit with the adults too), tennis/basketball court, swimming pool/jacuzzi and playground kept everyone busy. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit too. The property was so large it never felt crowded. Bob was great to show us the house and how to use everything when we checked in. He was very friendly and texted us to see if we needed anything else during out stay. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bob!

There was so much space on this property! Wonderful views! The owner gave us so much Information and ideas for our family to do and places to eat. We had every age group and everyone loved their stay. There was a lot of space for all of us to get together but yet if little ones needed to nap (or the parents rest) there were rooms for that too. Best of both worlds. Thank you for all the help and suggestions and use of your beautiful houses. We loved all the art work as well. Great place for all ages.

The Ranch is easily the nicest place I’ve stayed at for a vacation. We had 25 guys for a bachelor party and both houses easily accommodated us. I can’t recommend Bob enough as well. I was completely unfamiliar with the area and every recommendation Bob had for our party was fantastic. Would love to have another visit here. Thanks again Bob!

We loved our stay at Bob's ranch. There were a ton of activities: basketball, tennis, pool (on a table), swimming, and the list goes on. It was great for our company retreat, where the team could easily get together and interact on a more personal level (rather than on Zoom). Highly recommend it!!!

Family reunion for large family that came from all over the country. The two houses worked perfectly so family could have some quiet time at the other house while one may be more active. The pools were perfect. The setting was perfect. The rooms comfortable and spacious. The houses are quirky and some things needed fixing, but Bob the property manager was available by text all hours of the day. We loved hanging out by the pool and the big deck for long conversations into the evening. Highly suggest for big gatherings and privacy! The grounds crew were so friendly and lastly we hired Chef Alfonso to cater a few dinners and he was excellent! So kind and a great chef. It was a great week!

Host was extremely communicative to our needs and answered texts late into the night. Ranch is conveniently located 5 min drive from a town with every major store/restaurant type. Nice rolling hills with view for miles. Fun videogames and entertainment options within the compound.
