The South Cumberland region of Tennessee is an amazing wonderland of nature, beauty and fun. We call it the ‘Mountains of Adventure’. There are over 85 miles of trails and 30,000 acres of the largest park in Tennessee – the South Cumberland State Park. Visitors come from across the country and the globe to hike, climb, explore, swim under waterfalls and visit historic sites from timber and coal mining days. Recently, a visitor told me that he was in a store and someone just looked at him.
