Vail is a Municipality of Home Rule in Eagle County, Colorado, U.S.A. This wonderful town was built and established as base village to amazing Vail Ski Resort, originally conceived with this idea. The population of this town at 2005 census was 4,589. Its first season was opened in December, 1962 and was the second largest, after Whistler Blackcomb, Ski Mountain in Northern America. Visitors and tourists find this place as suitable and livable destination, and people from neighboring regions and from all quarters of U.S.A, visits throughout the year. Because of its elevation, Vail has pleasantly cold winters and warm summers in most part of the year. The ambiance is spot on and people enjoy the influx of weather and culture in Vail.  

Tourism industry is much more dependent on winter sports, though Vail also has some good golfing center and summer resorts as well. Many recreational activities are also a thing that one can enjoy. The climate in Vail is either subarctic or alpine, depending upon the classification used. The temperature here very rarely goes above the freezing point between November and February. In the Holy Cross Wilderness Area, easily accessible lakes and handful of picturesque is among the quiet places in Vail.
